Update: Suspect Arrested in Friday Shooting

UPDATE 2/10/14 -- Officers saw and recovered a total of about 100 expended and unexpended .22 caliber cartridges on the ground or porch near the front of the trailer home ON 1500 block of Jason. 

During the course of the investigation, officers developed information that allowed them to take Fernando Manuel Prieto, 25, into custody on a charge of deadly conduct by discharging a firearm, a second degree felony. 

Prieto was booked into the Potter County Detention Center. 

The other people at the home were released. 

AMARILLO 2/8/14-- It happened February 7 just after 9 p.m.

According to Amarillo Police, several shots were fired between the 1300 and 1500 block of Jason, and the 3100 block of Oak.

Several people were detained, but no injuries were reported.

Police are calling it a deadly conduct investigation.
