Update: Police Continue Shooting Investigation

UPDATE 6/9/14 -- During the investigation, officers found that the suspect or suspects had fired shots from outside the house through walls into the house. 

Bullets penetrated into two rooms of the home, including the living room the victim was in when she was wounded. 

Officers recovered at least 14 spent cartridge casings outside the home. 

There have been no arrests at the time of this release

AMARILLO -- A woman is shot multiple times and police say, the suspect is at large.

It happened just after midnight on June 8.

Amarillo Police were called to the 3000 block of Northeast 11th around midnight on reports of a shooting.

Officers discovered a 58 year old woman with gunshot wounds to her lower body.

Police says she was inside the home with another man and woman.

The victim was taken to the hospital with possible life threatening injuries and later taken to another facility for further medical treatment.

Officers says there are no suspects at this time.
