We now know more information about the man who was shot and killed by police, earlier tonight.

Amarillo Police Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of South Nelson on a trespass involving a domestic violence incident.

According to police, two officers were attempting to detain Jason Herrera, 35, in the parking lot of the Nelson Street Apartments.
