Update: DPS Searching for Suspect, Clarendon College Cancels Morning Classes

UPDATE 4 P.M -- DPS have released more information about the search for a suspect. 

During the traffic stop, DPS pulled over the suspects and asked for identification. Two suspects gave an id and the third one fled. 

Troopers found marijuana and a stolen pistol in the car and arrested 18-year-old Cameron Meyers and 24-year-old Kentrel Hilt. 

DPS continues to look for the third suspect. 

UPDATE 11 A.M. -- DPS is reporting that a traffic stop last night leads to a search for a suspect in Clarendon.

DPS pulled over the suspect for a traffic violation when the suspect fled. The suspect then got out of the vehicle in Clarendon and fled of foot.

Donley County Sheriff is assisting with the search for the suspect. 

-- Clarendon College canceled Kids' College classes Monday morning. All classes for the remainder of the day will be held as usual. According to the college, the decision was made after law enforcement was searching for someone in Donley County. At last check, officials at Clarendon College said they believed the person law enforcement was looking for was no longer in Donley County.

DPS Trooper Daniel Hawthorne confirmed this morning that law enforcement were still searching for a suspect.
