AMARILLO -- The United Supermarkets Charity Classic golf tournament in Amarillo on Monday raised $46,800 for this year’s beneficiary, Arrow Child & Family Ministries.
The 21st annual event attracted almost 200 golfers to Tascosa Country Club to raise money for the local organization, which provides foster care, adoption, emergency shelter and kinship care for children.
Arrow Child & Family Ministries is an international Christian provider of child welfare and education services for abused and neglected children and families in crisis. Through the engagement of both government and the local church, Arrow provides an array of services including foster care, adoption, child sex trafficking rehabilitation and specialized education. All programs and services advance the well-being of children, families and communities while promoting Christian responsibility and a commitment to strengthen family life.
