LUBBOCK -- United Supermarkets announced a partnership with The Gracious Gift Wine, a wine distributor that donates a portion of all proceeds to fight hunger locally.
For every bottle of Gracious Gift wine purchased at the Amarillo Market Street and the United Supermarkets’ locations on 45th & Bell and 34th & Soncy, guests will help donate five meals to High Plains Food Bank.
“We are humbled and excited to provide High Plains Food Bank with the means to alleviate hunger in Amarillo, while allowing guests to enjoy a great product,” said Shelby Crews, community relations manager for The United Family™.
Upon hearing shocking statistics of hunger-stricken Texans, Cindy Sebek of San Antonio, founder and president of The Gracious Gift, created the company to make an impact while providing a great product.
“I am delighted to hear that The United Family has chosen to partner with The Gracious Gift Wine to support the fight against hunger at a local level,” said Sebek, a Texas Tech University alumnae. “The current hunger rates are simply unacceptable, so Amarillo guests can rest assured that each bottle bought will benefit a local recipient.”
