Unemployment Remains Steady for Amarillo

For the fourth straight month, unemployment has fallen. It now stands at a five year low 7-percent.

AMARILLO --      For the fourth straight month, Texas' unemployment rate is down.
    It fell to six point one percent in November, down from 6.2 percent in October.
    That's well below the national unemployment rate of 7 percent.
    Amarillo still has the third lowest unemployment rate of any city in the state, behind Midland and Odessa.
