Two Dead, One in Life-Threatening Condition Following Crash in Wheeler County

WHEELER COUNTY - Two people are dead and another is in life-threatening condition following a morning crash in Wheeler County.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Troopers were called to a one-vehicle crash this at around 8 a.m. today about five miles west of Shamrock on I-40.
Troopers say Andrew Derosia of Jacksonville, Florida, was driving east on I-40 when he veered off the road and over-corrected, causing him to lose control of the vehicle. 

Officials tell us the vehicle rolled over multiple times in the center median before coming to a rest on its top. 

We are told a passenger, Jeremy Lassere, 29, of D’Iberville, Mississippi was ejected from the vehicle, resulting in his death.
Derosia and Lassere were pronounced dead on the scene.
The other passenger, a 21-year-old from of Long Beach, Mississippi, was airlifted to a hospital in Amarillo with life-threatening injuries.
Officials say Lassere was not wearing a seatbelt. Derosia and the other passenger were wearing seat belts.
The crash is still under investigation.
