Toys for Tots needs your help, and you've only got one more day to make a donation.
"You know, last ditch effort. This weekend is it. We've got to get them in, so that we can get them distributed by Christmas," Carole Hamlin, the Toys for Tots Coordinator said.
Toys for Tots partners with 24 agencies in the Panhandle, giving them gifts to distribute to kids in need.
But the organization has been behind this year.
"Typically we collect a little more than 5,500 toys, we're just a little more than halfway there at this point," Hamlin said.
With just one collection day left on Saturday, Hamlin says they're looking for help.
Hamlin says organizations like the Department of Public Safety, Bell Helicopter and Barnes and Noble have made big contributions, but they have 3,500 families to serve.
"You know, it's just very important to me," Hamlin says, "I have grandchildren. We are very blessed, and I like to give back because of that. I want every child to feel that blessing on christmas day."
It's easy to make that happen. The Bulls will host a teddy bear toss Saturday. Just bring a teddy bear to the game, and you'll toss it onto the ice after the first goal.
All the bears go to Toys for Tots, so no child gets left behind this Christmas.
