Cargill makes a generous donation, helping to benefit many kids in our community.
The company is giving $7,500 to the Parks and Recreation Department and possibly another $1,250 from their corporate office.
The donation is to help the department provide extra hot meals, new equipment, school supply iteams and quality programming for kids in the community.
Cargill has also adopted Forest Hill through the adopta-a-park porgram and has volunteered to bring the kids at Forest HIll meals and other needed items every Friday throughout the summer.
Cargill will be presenting the check to the recreation program on June 13.
