WTAMU Offers Stuttering Support Group

- AMARILLO -- Speech and Hearing Clinic starting Amarillo's first chapter of the National Stuttering Association.

Chapter meetings are open to those who stutter, parents/significant others/friends of stutterers, speech-language pathologists and anyone who wants to learn more about stuttering.

More than three million Americans share the communication disorder called stuttering.

The first Amarillo meeting will be from 6:30-8 p.m. Aug. 11 at the WTAMU Amarillo Center, Room 1012. For more information, call 806-651-5108.
