Hollywood Minute: Deaths Of 2 Legends

Born 'Betty Joan Perske' in 1924, Lauren Bacall rose to fame in films like the big sleep.

Her famous down-turned face and up-turned eyes. Nicknamed: The look.

"I mean that's what started 'the look'.. was nerves...  Just trying to keep my head steady."

She starred with fellow screen legend Humphrey Bogart in the big sleep.

The couple later married and had two children together.

She later had another child with actor Jason Robards.

Bacall spent twenty years on the stage.

In a statement on Twitter the Bogart estate confirmed Bacall's death. Expressing their deep sorrow and great gratitude for her amazing life.

"With deep sorrow, yet with great gratitude for her amazing life, we confirm the passing of Lauren Bacall."

This is the second tragedy for film fans in as many days.

On Monday, the world lost actor Robin Williams.

A man who became our dream nanny in "Mrs.Doubtfire" and the friend who looks out for you in Aladdin.

As the world mourns his death, many choose to celebrate his life.

Actress Sarah Michelle Gellar, who worked with Williams on the CBS show, "The Crazy Ones" said in part, "my life is a better place because I knew Robin Williams."

Those who love the comedian say they felt like the actor was one of them.

At the famous 'Laugh Factory,' a sign simply said:

Robin Williams, rest in peace, make god laugh. Just like you made us laugh.
