Orlando, Florida -
(NBC News) The "Tonight Show" is on the road in Florida this week.
An audience more than three times the size of his normal New York crowd welcomed Jimmy Fallon to the Sunshine State last night.
The show started setting up shop at Universal Orlando last Friday, preparing for this week's road show.
That enabled Fallon and company to pre-record bits with a distinct Florida flavor that will air each night.
"When we're here, we like to talk to people, get people's reaction to stuff. We have a lot of man on the street stuff, Fallon says. "And we just want to showcase how beautiful the state is. It's gorgeous."
The Florida trip is just the latest event in what's been a whirlwind year for Fallon, including fatherhood with new daughter Winnie.
