A Doll Like Me
(WJFW) Living with diabetes is a challenge.
That can be especially for true children.
But one young girl, in Wisconsin is making the most out of her struggle with the disease.
Little Anja Busse posted a video of herself talking about her struggle with diabetes.
Anja posted the video to encourage people to sign her online petition.
She wants the American Girl Doll Company to make diabetic accessories for their dolls.
"They even have bald American Girl Dolls for girls that have cancer. It's really cool what they have. It kind of makes me a little upset because the only thing they don't have are diabetic supplies," Busse said.
American Girl Doll allows girls to pick dolls that look just like them.
The company makes different medical accessories like wheelchairs and allergy shots.
Anja wants them to offer supplies for diabetics.
"Yeah, i would just really like the diabetic supplies. It would mean a lot to me and it would make a lot of little girls who have diabetes really happy," Busse said.
