Three Men Face Federal Drug Charges

AMARILLO -- Three men face charges after Police find drugs in a vehicle.

A Federal Court charged Michael Winters, Juan Madrid, and Juan Madrid Junior or "Pelon" with conspiracy to possess and possession of meth.

A Potter County Sheriff Deputy pulled Winters over on a traffic violation.

Police suspected criminal activity and searched the car.

They found six bundles of drugs in the spare tire.

Winters admitted that Madrid and Pelon were paying him to transport the drugs.

Winters and Madrid Junior were both arrested, Madrid has not been.
