Three Injured/One Dead in FM 1061 Wreck

BUSHLAND -- Two drivers trying to avoid a wreck, hit each other on FM 1061.

The first car was traveling south on FM 1061 when it attempted to pass multiple cars in a no passing zone. The second vehicle was traveling North on FM 1061 when it tried to make an evasive maneuver to avoid a collision with the first car 1 by driving into the north barrow ditch. The first car made and evasive maneuver to avoid a collision with the second car by driving into the north barrow ditch. 

The first car hit the second car in the north barrow ditch.

The first car came to rest in the northbound lane of FM 1061 facing southeast. The second car came to rest in the north barrow ditch facing southwest.

The driver of the first vehicle, Tommy Flores Rodriguez, was prounced dead at the scene. The passenger in the first car is in stable condition.

The driver of the second vehicle is listed in serious condition. The passenger in the second car is listed in stable condition.
