"Well it's a tremendous honor to represent this area of the Panhandle and the folks of House District 87," Representative Price said. "It's very meaningful obviously to me personally, but more than that I think it's a vote of confidence from the folks in the house district."
During his second term, Price says he plans to focus his efforts on education in the state, and the future of water allocation in the Panhandle.
The night went differently for the Local Democratic watch party over at Fernando's. The excitement stayed up through President Obama's re-election projection.
Bosquez's support stayed through the end of the race and the candidate had hoped the result would have been different.
"I wish the numbers would've been better but I know that there's a lot of constituents out there in District 87 that were backing me all the way, so I'll continue to do what I can," said Bosquez.
He told us that he will continue his involvement with improving education in Texas.
When asked about a third run at the office, Bosquez said his options are still on the table.
