(NBC News) Tennessee teen Elizabeth Thomas, missing for more than a month, has been found safe.
Her 50-year old teacher, Tad Cummins, is now under arrest and facing serious charges.
The nationwide manhunt for the pair came to an end Thursday in California.
"I'm so overjoyed to have her home, that she's safe," Anthony Thomas, Elizabeth's father said.
Police say one key tip cracked the case.
"The caller indicated they had taken up residence in a cabin in a remote area in Cecilville, California within the last week and half," said the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's Josh Devine.
Investigators found the pair living on a commune.
