AMARILLO --      The city of Amarillo is one step closer to enhancing parts of the city.
The city council passed a 10-year tax exemption for Coca-Cola Refreshments, meaning they will not have to pay extra taxes for qualified improvements to the new facility.
The second item they passed was more funding to improve the AQHA's World Championship show in Amarillo.
Also the council approved the new location for the AMBUCS playground for special needs children.
