Suspect Sought in Gray County theft and Pursuit

The Pampa Police and Gray County Sheriff's Office is still searching for a subject for driving a stolen vehicle and fled from them on Sunday night and eventually ran into a house.

The pursuit began around 8:30 PM when Pampa Police attempted to stop the vehicle near Foster and Somerville. The driver fled northbound and crashed a short time later in a house at 1017 Somerville. The driver then fled the scene on foot. There were no injuries in the crash.

Police have been unable to locate the suspect but are processing the vehicle for prints and other evidence that could link them to the driver. The ongoing investigation is a joint effort between the Pampa PD and the Gray County Sheriffs Office.

Law enforcement officials say that the only description that they have is a male wearing a black hoodie. If you have any information about the subject in question, you are asked to contact Pampa Police at 669-5700, crime stoppers at 669-2222 or the Gray County SO at 669-8022.
