West Texas Goes Hollywood

Amarillo, Texas - The WT A&M Social Work Club is student organization that focuses on volunteer work and service to the community. They average about 30-plus hours of volunteer work a semester. The club works with local agencies like Downtown Women's Shelter, Panhandle Promise Project, Family Support Services, Amarillo Housing First and the Amarillo VA.

They are creating a scholarship that rewards dedication to service and academic excellence. The Old Hollywood Gala is a charity event to raise money for the scholarship and further our involvement within the community

Speakers will be John Mark Beilue from Amarillo Globe News and Bobby Nixon from Another Chance House.

Tickets are $65, $110 for couples, and $400 for a reserved table of 8. Students and faculty tickets are $30 with student organization tables priced at $200.
