The Science of a Bed of Nails

- The DHDC is leaving ancient Egypt and prehistoric oceans for medieval Europe. Its new traveling exhibition, LEGO Castle Adventure opens with an exclusive members event on January 24th and will open to the public on January 25th. Visitors can explore the King's castle (don't touch his treasure!), visit the dragons lair and take on the king's challenge: to construct an impenetrable castle fortress.

The DHDC's youngest visitors will also have a special area this spring called Little Builders.  It's a special construction zone for children age 7 and younger that also opens January 25th. Guests can don a hard hat and vest and enter the construction zone where they can create their own unique structures. Construction equipment is on hand to help builders with those big projects!

Parents' Night Out for tonight is already full, but the next event is set for Valentines Day, Friday, February 14, from 5:30-9:30 p.m. Organizers anticipate a sell-out for this event so make your reservations soon! Visit or call 355-9547 for event details.
