As part of the museums long-range plan to upgrade its permanent gallery spaces, the Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum will soon update and refresh the 2nd floor of the Don D. Harrington Petroleum Wing for the first time since its installation in 1986.  The Museum is inviting its members and the public to help give it an oil change by adding their name to the permanent Drop in the Barrel donor wall. Drops and barrels for the donor wall are limited, so right now is the time to reserve yours.

Organizers want to invite people to donate prior to September 12th so they can be a part of the special donors-only party at the Big Texan! The Big Texan is creating a special craft beer to commemorate the renovation and they are hosting/ providing refreshments for this special party! Donations can be made online at panhandleplains.org or by calling 806-651-2233
