Political Activist & Author, Star Parker, to Speak at 2014 Hope Fest

Sharing Hope Ministry helps women who are residing in correctional or rehabilitation facilities find hope through sharing God's word.  The group sends Life Recovery Bibles, Bible studies and prayer to women in 46 states.  Locally, the group regularly visits Randall and Potter County jails.  Sharing Hope also runs Patsy's Place Transitional Home in Amarillo.  This facility allows up to 12 women a year live in home to learn and become equipped with life and spiritual skills to overcome addiction and start a healthy life in society.

Sharing Hope's fundraiser, Hope Fest, is set for Thursday, March 27th.  Doors open at 6:30 p.m.  Tickets are $35.  The event will feature guest speaker Star Parker, syndicated columnist, author, political activist and founder of CURE , the Center for Urban Renewal and Education.  There are still sponsorship opportunities available.

Attendees of the event will have a chance to win a $2,500 Visa Gift Card for in a $25/ticket raffle.
