New Music Tuesday: Foster the People and Enrique Iglesias
Supermodel is the highly anticipated album release from Foster the People. The album was recorded in various places around the world after the album's producer set up a recording studio in Morocco. Front man, Mark Foster, said that they tried to write and record as much as they could in seven days. The recording continued in Los Angeles, and finally the album was finished in London. Foster also says part of the reason the album is called Supermodel is because of the way that we define beauty and that differs between the western and eastern world.
We're switching gears to the artist that holds the record of 24 number one Spanish language singles on Billboard's Hot Latin songs chart. Enrique Iglesias releases his 10th studio album titled Sex and Love. He's been quoted saying that he named the album this because that's what most songs are about on the radio and his album, so why beat around the bush. The bilingual album features artists like Kyle Minogue, Flo Rida and Pitbull, who he's touring with this fall.
