Police in Dallas are trying to figure out if they have a hate crime on their hands.

This, after some spray-painted 666 on a half-dozen Dallas landmarks.

Police believe it started at the Cathedral of Hope, the self-described "Nations Largest Gay Church".

A mile to the south of the church, the entrance of Dallas' gay entertainment and lifestyle boulevard. The monument known as the Legacy of Love also stained with the remnants of the washed away 666.

Police today identified six vandalized locations, including the print media homes of the Dallas Morning News, D Magazine and the Dallas Observer.

Police do not believe the acts were random.
