Lubbock , Texas -
(KCBD) A Lubbock, Texas teaching aide has been fired after accusations that she abused a special needs student at Bean Elementary School.
The incident happened Friday after school and was witnessed by a grandparent who was picking up a student from school.
"I could hear a lady say get up, get up real loud and bad and I could hear someone crying," said Gloria Deatherage. "I could see the doors to the classroom closed and the lights off so I looked through the window and I saw a little boy lying down and I see the teacher kicking him."
That's when Gloria opened the door and confronted the teaching assistant.
