San Antonio, Texas -
Dan Trevino is the Associate Pastor at Baptist Temple Church on the east side of San Antonio.
Nowadays, you won't find Trevino there on a sunday.
That's because he's spending most of his time at Lackland Air Force Base preaching to thousands of undocumented children.
Trevino, affectionately known as "Pastor Dan," was asked to provide Sunday services for the thousands of unaccompanied kids currently sheltered at Lackland.
He is currently preaching at four, 30-minute services each weekend.
"When I do a worship service it's pretty amazing because I let them participate. Some of them want to sing, some of them want to read scripture, some of them want to say a word of encouragement to their peers."
Trevino said his message to the kids is one of faith and hope, and not to lose either of those if they're sent back home to Central America.
He said about 8,000 undocumented kids have now heard his services since he started preaching there on Palm Sunday.
And he's been told he will continue do so until the government says otherwise.
