Detroit, Michigan -
(WDIV) Police in Detroit, Michigan say two teenagers have been arrested in the beating of a suburban man who was attacked while trying to help a boy struck by his pickup truck.
The victim, 54-year-old Steve Utash, remains in a medically-induced coma.
Sgt. Mike Woody said the 17-year-old and the 16-year-old boys arrested had a direct role in the severe beating of Utash.
Woody says the arrests were made Saturday, although no charges will be filed immediately while investigators continue their work.
Investigators said the teens were two of about 10 people who threw punches and kicks at Utash as a crowd of 20 or so watched on.
