Standing Against Child Abuse

-
Amarillo took a stand against child abuse, with a five hour afternoon concert.

The event is part of child abuse prevention month, with performances by truth, chosen vessel, and several guest speakers.

People in attendance wore blue to show their support for victims of child abuse.

Volunteer DJ Joe Casas says, "it's up to us, the surrounding community, to look at them, actually see, maybe there's something wrong, maybe that's not just a crying baby because its being fussy.'

The day ended with a 30 minute zumba class by Chris Aguilar.
