The hearing focused on whether d-n-a testing on evidence would have prevented skinner from being convicted of the 1993 murders of three people.
A DNA expert for the defense spent the day on the stand and seemed to find inconsistencies in the results Skinner and his attorneys say shows the presence of another person the night of the murders.
The prosecution seemed to cut holes in the theory getting the expert to admit Skinner could not be excluded from several pieces.
The hearing continues Tuesday in Pampa.
