Skeet Shoot

-
Some people are pulling out the big guns, literally to raise money for a local organization.

The Amarillo Gun club hosted the Harlow Sprouse Second Memorial Skeet Shoot.

Some shooters had the opportunity to compete for $60.

The registration for teams of five were $300.

The event also included a silent auction, shooting games with prizes and an opportunity to win tickets.

CASA Executive Director Lara Escobar says, "you know sometimes you get tired of the same old fundraisers, so we're trying to kind of mix it up and get a different crowd out here.  We need males to advocate for our children so this is a great way to reach out to them."

All of the money raised will benefit the Amarillo Area Court Appointed Special Advocates, or CASA.
