NEW YORK, NY --      A higher dose flu shot may work better for people over age 65.
The company that makes "Fluzone" has released a study that finds the vaccine is about 50% effective in seniors.
Because people over age 65 can have weaker immune systems regular flu shots tend to be only about 30-40% effective.
The Fluzone vaccine has been on the market for several years.
