AMARILLO - It's a look into the future for those at San Jacinto Christian Academy's early education and elementary school.
Seniors wearing their cap and gown spent their last day outside of the classroom.
They walked down the halls of San Jacinto Christian Academy. Winding from the high school, through the middle school and ending in the elementary building, this is a tradition of the past and a view into the future. This walk is called the Patriot Walk.
Superintendent Randy Down said, "The Patriot Walk is a chance for them to have one last opportunity to stroll the hallways that they grew up in. Many of them call this their home and it gives them a chance to say goodbye to the elementary school kids, middle school kids, and their high school classmates one last time as students,"
The next time the Patriot seniors walk the halls, they will be alumni of SJCA. This walk shows underclassman what they can look forward to.
Superintendent Down explained the SJCA Patriots are family, "We really are here for one another, for good or for bad, and we're just like any other family. We really enjoy the times together and so this Patriot Walk is one more chance to get together as a family."
The seniors will graduate on Saturday, May 27.
