River Road ISD Releases Statement Following Viral Facebook Post

AMARILLO - Concerned parents of River Road High School students are speaking out after they said a Facebook post went viral when a student threatened to bring a gun to school and shoot students on Friday. 

In regard to the claims, River Road ISD Superintendent Richard Kelley released this statement: 

"RRISD will always place student and staff safety first, and we will continue to investigate any rumors or threats that endanger that safety.  At this time, we are moving forward with all school activities as planned."
