Richard J. Sena Found Guilty of Armed Robbery and Sexual Assault

CLOVIS -- Richard J. Sena,35, was found guilty by a Curry County jury in the November 2012 sexual assault and robbery of an elderly Clovis woman.  

The jury found Sena guilty of Criminal Sexual Penetration, Kidnapping, Criminal Sexual Contact, Armed Robbery, and Aggravated Burglary.
Sena broke into the victims home in Clovis about 3:30 a.m. in November, 2012, and sexually assaulted her threatening her with a knife, then stole her firearm, wallet and phone, fleeing on foot. 

Clovis Police Department officers were able to track the shoe prints of Sena to a home about five blocks away where he was found hiding the back yard.

Sena faces up to 60 years in prison.
