By Karl Wehmhoener | email@example.com
AMARILLO -- The March Book Madness Contest at Reeves-Hinger Elementary is a reading challenge for 3rd and 4th grade students.
Students competing needed to read and complete summaries of books.
The summaries included a picture book (1 point), small chapter books (2 points), and longer chapter books (3 points).
Students with 10 points were entered into the drawing for the iPad Mini. The students were able to write summaries at home and the contest lasted from January to March.
In addition, the teachers with the most summaries submitted will also receive an iPad Mini.
Both iPad Minis were donated by the Education Credit Union.
