AMARILLO -- Incoming freshmen for Tascosa High School got a surprise visit from teachers and staff today.
It was all part of "Rebel Outreach Day".
Teachers and staff visited every one of their new students' homes.
They gave out informational bags about Tascosa and what the school has to offer.
Officials say this was a great way to meet the new freshmen.
"Well I think it sets the tone for the year. essentially we want to welcome the kids to high school and let them know we're excited to work with them over the next four years. "
"Rebel Outreach Day" is part of the no excuses program.
