Potter County Sheriff Deputy Arrests Suspect After Finding Meth in Vehicle

AMARILLO -- A Potter County Sheriff’s Deputy stopped a vehicle on I-40 West of Amarillo for an on view traffic violation. 

The driver, Douglas Ninham, 36,  gave the deputy consent to search the vehicle.  

The deputy found 2 pounds of methamphetamine concealed inside the trunk area of Ninham’s vehicle.  

Ninham was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance and booked into the Potter County Detention Center.

The estimated street value of the meth is about $30,000.
