AMARILLO -- Funeral services for Sgt. Paul Buckles of the Potter County Sheriff’s Office will be at 10 a.m. at the Hillside Christian Church at Soncy and Hillside. Sgt. Buckles, a 26 year veteran of the PCSO, died while participating in a law enforcement training exercise on May 30.
Sgt. Buckles’ funeral will be followed by graveside services at the Llano Cemetery Field of Honor at 34th and S. Arthur. The procession will include a large number of vehicles. Drivers who normally travel on the streets that the procession travels on or crosses could experience traffic delays, and may wish to plan accordingly.
The funeral procession will travel east on Hillside from the church, cross Soncy, continuing east to cross Coulter, Bell, Western, Georgia, then turning left (north) on Washington, crossing 46th, then turning northeast on the Canyon E-way service road until 34th. From there, they will proceed east on 34th Avenue to S. Arthur before turning north and entering the Llano East Field of Honor.
