Borger, Texas -
BORGER -- At 5 p.m. Tuesday, two employees and a contract worker at the Phillips 66 Refinery in Borger were taken to Golden Plains Community Hospital to receive medical treatment. The condition of all three individuals was not life threatening.
Since that time, one of the employees and the contract worker have been treated and released from Golden Plains. The second employee is receiving treatment at the Lubbock Burn Center.
Phillips 66 is investigating the exact cause of the incident.
The unit where the incident occurred was down for an extended turnaround and maintenance was being performed.
