(KFOR)  A sonar test conducted by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol appears to have cracked two cold cases.

The test revealed two cars submerged in the murky waters of Foss Lake.

Inside the cars were six bodies.

The Custer County Sheriff's Office says the cars are a late 1960s Camaro and an early 1950s Chevrolet.

Debbie McManaman thinks her grandfather, 69-year-old John Alva Porter, was in the '50s Chevy. He disappeared in 1969.

"I mean, he was just gone," said McManaman. "No trace at all. His money was in the bank, his house was intact and he was gone. So over 40 years we've been looking for him."
