AMARILLO -- A police officer is sent to the hospital, after arresting a man who tried to run off.
It happened around noon on Monday, on the Boulevard.
An officer pulled a vehicle over, and found the driver had mutliple warrants out of Gray County and one from Potter County.
34-year-old Chad Richards started running after he was handcuffed.
When officers caught up to him, he allegedly put up a fight, and an officer separated their shoulder. Richards is booked into the Potter County Jail.
