NTSB Releases Preliminary Report on Deadly Plane Crash

AMARILLO -- We are learning more about what happened in the deadly plane crash involving a Canyon family.

According to the NTSB preliminary report, the plane originally was scheduled to land at Tradewind Airport was rerouted to Rick Husband because of heavy fog.           

48-year-old pilot William Capt missed the approach.

The plane went down near the Potter-Carson county line.

All three people aboard died.
