Not Guilty Plea in Clovis Murder For Hire Plot

ALBUQUERQUE -- A man arrested for a murder for hire plot in Clovis has plead not guilty in federal court.
Cody Guss entered the plea to the charge of using a cell phone for interstate travel for the purpose of committing a murder.
Guss is accused of trying to hire an undercover Amarillo Police Officer to kill his wife back in February.
According to court documents Guss offered to pay travel expenses and $5,000 once the murder was done.
Guss was indicted on the charge last week by an Albuquerque federal grand jury.
