PORTALES--Eastern New Mexico University’s Department of Art will host a Senior Art Exhibition for the 2014 graduating art majors in the Runnels Gallery in Golden Library on the Portales campus.

The exhibit will run from April 25-May 9. The viewing hours are Monday-Thursday, 7:30 a.m.-midnight, Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 pm, Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from noon to midnight.

There will be a closing reception on Friday, May 9, from 5-6:30 p.m.

Both events are free and open to the public.

Lauren Cook, Senior Vocal Recital

PORTALES--Eastern New Mexico University’s Department of Music will host Lauren Cook’s Senior Vocal Recital on Sunday, April 27, at 3 p.m. in Buchanan Hall in the Music Building on the Portales campus.

The recital is free and open to the public.

A Grand Night for Singing

PORTALES--Eastern New Mexico University’s Department of Fine Arts will host A Grand Night for Singing on April 24-27 on the Main Stage at the University Theatre Center on the Portales campus.

Times for the production are 7 p.m. on April 24-26 and 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 27.

A Grand Night for Singing is a musical revue showcasing the music of Richard Rodgers and the lyrics of Oscar Hammerstein II.

Featuring songs from such lesser-known works as Allegro, Me and Juliet, State Fair, and Pipe Dream, modest successes like Flower Drum Song and hits like Carousel, Oklahoma!, The King and I, South Pacific, Cinderella and The Sound of Music.

General Admission is $5, or free with a current ENMU student ID
