PORTALES -- Charles Lopez, 27, of Portales, was found guilty by a Roosevelt County jury of Trafficking Controlled Substances.

In February of this year, as part of an operation by the Region V Drug Task Force, and Portales Police Officer Nate Hyde, Charles Lopez sold a baggie of methamphetamine to undercover officers.

The jury deliberated one hour before returning their guilty verdict.
