SANTA FE -- Governor Susana Martinez announced a proposal to bolster New Mexicos health care workforce by increasing the number of nurse educators in the state.

Legislation backed by Governor Martinez would allow for practicing nurses who are interested in earning a higher level of education and teaching at a New Mexico college or university to be eligible for Nursing Loan-for-Service funding.
