Former Clovis Certified Public Accountant Facing Charges for Embezzlement

CLOVIS -- A former certified public accountant from Clovis is facing charges for embezzlement.

54-year-old Charles Flemming was indicted today by a Curry County Grand Jury.

He faces 20 charges of embezzling about $296,000 from the New Mexico Cattle Growers Foundation from 2010 through 2011.

During that time, Fleming allegedly deposited 20 checks for the program to his personal bank account.
