Portales, New Mexico -
PORTALES -- The Food Bank of Eastern New Mexico is continuing its expansion of services in Roosevelt County by hosting a Special Food Distribution today at the Portales Memorial Building.
The food distribution continues to be open to qualified individuals living in the Portales area who are not currently being served at another food distribution site. All new food recipients will be asked to fill out an income eligibility form required by The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP). The income eligibility guidelines are attached to this press release.
Each household will receive 10 plus pounds of a combination of perishable and non-perishable food.
Anyone who would like to volunteer with the distribution can contact the Food Bank at 575-763-6130.
Any donations in advance of the distribution are greatly appreciated and can be dropped off at the Food Bank at 2217 Brady in Clovis.
